» 0 Comments | Post a Comment

Police are linking a suspect in a Phenix City bank robbery to ten other robberies over the last few weeks. Markell Walton, 20, is being held at the Muscogee County Jail. He is also charged with 10 counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
Walton is scheduled for a court appearance this afternoon.
The other suspect in Tuesday's bank robbery, Darryl Hughes, is at the Russell County Jail and is charged with robbery in the first degree.
Police say the duo robbed the bank
and then led them on a chase
that ended in Columbus when
the SUV they were in crashed.
Police believe walton was the person
who actually held
up the CB&T Bank and later jumped
into the SUV.
The SUV
hit a Columbus Police car and a light pole.
