Margaret Miller Wins Golden Apple Award

» 0 Comments | Post a Comment

A retired educator makes a return to the classroom. Her dedication makes Margaret Miller this week's MEA Federal credit Union Golden Apple Award winner.
Mrs. Miller is a speech therapist at Chatthoochee County Education Center. She retired from education, but returned to the classroom on a part time basis. She says she loves her job and it's never boring. She was excited to be honored with the Golden Apple award. Miller tells News 3,
"I watch it on the news all the time but I think 'teacher' and not speech therapist, even though I am an educator. I'm surprised and thrilled that someone apparently thought enough of me to suggest I deserved it".

Congratulations to Mrs. Miller. If you know of a deserving educator that you'd like to nominate, click on the Golden Apple icon on our homepage.
