Fort Benning Land Expansion Update
A Fort Benning Garrison Command spokesperson made a presentation to The Russell County commission today. George Stueber, the spokesperson, says the study will survey more than 82,000 acres in counties surrounding Fort Benning. The land is needed for more extensive combat training. Stueber says he will meet with The Russell County School Board next week to hear their concerns.
