Former Birmingham, Alabama Mayor Has One Month Before He Goes to Prison
Former Birmingham Mayor Larry Langford will spend fifteen years in prison. Langford was stripped of his mayoral position after his conviction last fall on bribery charges. Langford was given a month to get his affairs in order. The men who gave langford bribes in return for steering bond contracts their way, are serving four year prison terms after they testified during Langford's trial.
