Alabama voters may get to vote on whether they want electronic gaming in the state after the senate passed a proposed constitutional amendment last night.
The senate mustered just enough votes, 21, to pass the bill, which protects games from raids, as well as taxes and regulates them. The bill must now go to the House and if approved, will go to Alabama voters in a referendum on November 2. Meanwhile, on Tuesday, the Alabama Supreme Court has left in place
for now a judge's order that blocks the Governor's Anti-Gambling Task Force from raiding VictoryLand in Macon County.
