The fountain is blue at the Lee County Courthouse. Some who are aware of the Light It Up Blue autism awareness campaign are sure that the blue coloring is due to the national campaign.
According to www.lightitupblue.org, "On the evenings of April 1 and 2, 2011, prominent buildings across North America and the world — including the Empire State Building in New York City and the CN Tower in Toronto, Canada — will turn their lights blue to raise awareness for autism and to commemorate World Autism Awareness Day on Saturday, April 2."

On the campus of Auburn University, members of Alpha Xi Delta’s Zeta Xi Chapter have announced plans to illuminate Cater Hall in honor of World Autism Awareness Day.
Additionally, 25 fraternity houses and Alpha Xi Delta’s dorm, Oak Hall, will be illuminated in blue for the awareness event.
A ceremony is slated on the front lawn of Cater Hall at 8:30 tonight. Speakers include Whitney Hester from The Learning Tree, Inc. and Charlotte Lee, a mother of a child with autism.
