Lee County residents looking for jobs will have the opportunity to find them at the Goodwill Career Center next week.

The center, located in the Goodwill store on Pepperell Parkway in Opelika, will host a job fair for Tiger Dining by Chartwells from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, according to a news release.

Chartwells is looking for general utility associates, receiving clerks, dining room attendants, cooks, prep cooks, line servers and cashiers.

In the news release, the company asks that perspective candidates bring a resume and dress professionally.

Chartwells’ pay range is $7.50 to $10.50 an hour.

Goodwill Career Center Manager Ted Bryant said the job fairs are a good way for community members to meet possible employers.

“These jobs fairs are an excellent opportunity for qualified community members and students to put their best foot forward with employers actively seeking applicants,” he said in the release.

On Tuesday, the Event Operations Group will have its job fair from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The company is looking for event staff, guest services, management and supervisory employees, security personnel, ushers and ticket takers, according to the release.

Pay starts at $8 an hour.

The Event Operations Group asks that candidates bring a resume and two forms of identification. Attendees of the fair should dress professionally.
