Business Owner Critically Injured by Vehicle

A Valley business owner is in critical condition after he was pinned by an SUV. Just before 2 p.m., KT “Kap” Duncan, 76, was giving direction to the driver of the SUV as she backed up to the building in order to load her recent purchases. Duncan was pinned between the building and the rear of the vehicle. The driver of the SUV has been identified as Constance Montgomery, 53, of Opelika. Duncan was transported to George H. Lanier Memorial Hospital. The Valley Police Department is investigating the accident.
