Columbus June Shooting Update

The man police say was involved in a shooting last month has turned himself in.
Reginald Vaughn Roberts 31, of Columbus turned himself in on July 1 for an outstanding warrant for Aggravated Assault for the shooting of Jeffery Newsome on June 24, 2009.
Roberts was additionally charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime.
Jeffery Newsome remains in the hospital recovering from his injuries.
