Opelika Considering Cable Competition

Auburn isn’t the only city considering a second option for cable.

Opelika Mayor Gary Fuller says the City Council will likely renew their non-exclusive franchise agreement with Charter Communications, but they want to give the existing company some competition.

The city is considering Knology or installing their own cable system.
