Opelika Dealership Reacts To Chrysler Closing

“It’s always a blow when somebody comes up and says hey we’re taking your business from you but you know, it’s out of our control,“ says General Sales Manager Johnny Jones.

He says his company will not wallow in misery, instead they will look ahead.

“We tend to look at things positively and move on.“

Jones says he feels fortunate in this whole ordeal because like some care dealerships, his whole business did not have to shut down.

“Glenn Smith Jeep is closing,“ he says “but Glenn Smith is not closing you know, we will be here, we’ll just be a Chevrolet dealer and whatever else we decide to pick up in the future.“

Jones is tight-lipped about the company’s plans to try to make up for the loss of the Jeep dealership.

“Hopefully we’ll be able to expand and offer more people employment.“

Until then they will make the best of their current situation.

“We’ll just concentrate on being part of the new GM.“

If you have purchased a Jeep from the Glynn Smith Jeep dealership we’re on your side with what you need to know about your warranty and servicing your vehicle.

Jones says they are not losing their service department. You will be able to have service done on your Jeep by Glynn Smith.

For warranty works on Jeeps go to your nearest Chrysler dealership.
