Phenix City Driver Crashes Her Truck Into House

A Russell county home owner got an unexpected guest eary Thursday morning after a pick up truck
smashed into his house. Police say it happened at nine o’clock after an elderly woman accidentally drove her truck right through the front wall of the home on white rock road off highway eighty near Ladonia. Home owner Winston Coker says it was a pretty scary experience. He was home at the time in the kitchen drinking coffee. Coker says the accident caused twelve thousand dollars in damages. Authorities say the elderly driver
of the truck lost control and left the road and hit the gas instead of her brakes. She was not charged in the incident. No one was injured.
