Big Move Down to Columbus

So I’ve made the official move down to Columbus to get in the right setting and mindset for Miss America. Although I don’t have a ton of “stuff,“ it does make a big difference to be away from all the comforts of home. As you may know, my dad is a certified BBQ judge and really phenomenal cook, so being away from his constant masterpieces should definitely make my trainers happy! I will have to admit that my taste buds will miss him terribly!
I’m pretty much moved in at this point with my Miss Georgia host family and I’m now just trying to settle into a routine and get my head in the game. I am so incredibly excited for Miss America and I really love the preparation too, however I’m just ready for everything to kick into high gear. I love being busy and am at my most productive when things are a little bit hectic, so now I just need to be ready for the craziness to begin!
