The last day has come! Or shall I say the first day?!??....hmmm!
  Last night went amazing! I hope that I rocked it out in my fabulous gown! This gown design is every bit ME! I love it and feel fabulous in it.
  Today we will be going to the farewell luncheon to bid the fabulous Chasity Hardman (our Miss America) good-bye. She has been a wonderful, wonderful Miss Ga and has left big shoes for any one of us young women to feel. The luncheon will be exciting because I get to sit and visit with my family for a while, which I have not been able to do this week.
  Then we have a final rehearsal and appearance, or play-time rather, at a fun park.
  The final competition and crowning of Miss Georgia will begin at 7:30. Everyone keep your fingers crossed and say a little prayer for the best.

Hello all! Well two nights down, two more to go! I am very pleased with how my song went. Now, I am ready for a new day and the chance to show off my new dress! Hello! We are in competition. Swimsuit is over. I was very excited for my roommate, Christina, who won the swimsuit award. She’s got a hot bod.

I cannot WAIT to get to sing my song tomorrow night. Tune in and pray for me. For now, I’m going to try and get some rest.

That’s the potato chips I’m eating. Ha- NOT!

Boy, I think I’m full of jokes when I start writing on this thing. My favorite comment of the day was from a dressing room mate. After I came in with a funny-to-others, but serious in my book comment she responded:
“You don’t talk very much, but when you do say something you are hilarious!“

I wanted to share that for those in my family who don’t think I’m very funny. Just know, I offer comic relief to those around me. We all must have humor to thoroughly enjoy life.

Lastly, I’d like to share my purpose and intent this week through a scripture that has grown very close to my heart through this journey.

“Each of you has been blessed with one of God’s gifts, to be used in the service of others.  So use your gift well.“  ~ 1 Peter 4:10

Interview is over!!
Coming out of interview, my first thought was “Can I go back in?! I wasn’t finished!“ Haha. Needless to say, I believe that if I wanted to talk some more it went very well. It definitely felt like the fastest interview I have ever done. The judges were extremely nice and personable. I just showed them who I was and why I am here.

I didn’t really have any overly exciting interview questions that would be comical to share with you. Sorry for the let-down. :(

I have the afternoon off, which is wonderful. Later tonight we will be taking on-stage photos and having a pajama party with the little princesses! So much fun.

Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers for my interview process today.
