MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - Alabama is benefiting from Kia’s
assembly plant on the Georgia state line.
The Alabama Development Office released a statement Thursday
saying Kia is responsible for more than 3,600 new jobs at
automotive supplier plants located in Alabama.
Those workers are employed at 34 different plants in Alabama,
including 12 new suppliers that came after Kia announced the
decision for its first U.S. assembly plant in March 2006.
Of those 34 plants, 25 supply both Alabama’s Hyundai plant and
the Kia plant.
Gov. Bob Riley said the $704 million that’s been invested in
Alabama’s economy is concrete evidence of the plant’s benefits.
ADO director Neal Wade said 20 to 25 percent of Kia’s work force
is expected to come from Alabama.

There is certainly a deep recession as far as jobs for the highly educated are concerned.Every now and again – you get your back up against the wall financially, and you could use some fast cash to take care of a sudden problem. You have a few options.  You could use credit cards, ask friends or family, pawn some of your stuff, or go to a payday loans store, which are the traditional ways to get fast cash.  However, if you don’t like these options, you could try getting online loans from an online payday lender.  Applying is easy; over the internet or phone, and lenders can direct deposit the funds in hours.  Heck, with instant online loans, you can get fast cash without leaving home or on the go with a smart phone.

How many Alabama residents are employed at plants in Georgia. Probably half the Georgia jobs went to Alabama residents. But Georgia officials won’t say.
