Alabama Unemployment Hits Top Ten
Alabama just made the top ten list for highest unemployment rates in the country.
The state’s unemployment rate for September was 10.7%. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics says that puts Alabama 10th on the list of states with the highest unemployment.
Alabama’s jobless rate has grown 5.3% over the last year. That’s the 3rd highest growth rate in the country.
