Alabamian’s Death Blamed on H1N1

The death of an Alabama woman is the eighth known fatality linked to the H1N1 virus in the state. According to the Alabama Department of Public Health, the woman was in her 50’s and lived in Dale County. Specimens from her tested positive for the H1N1 virus. Her death is prompting another round of warnings from the Department of Public Health.
