Armed Forces Rugby Championship

Fort Benning will host the Armed Forces Rugby Championship next week.

Competing teams are from all five branches of the Armed Forces, coming from all over the world.

Tournament play starts on Tuesday and runs to Friday. All events are free and open to the public.

Nov. 10 – tournament play
    10 to 11:30 a.m. – Navy vs. Air Force
    11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Army vs. Marines
    1 to 2:30 p.m. – Coast Guard vs. Navy
    2:30 to 4 p.m. – Air Force vs. Army
    4 to 5:30 p.m. – Marines vs. Coast Guard

Nov. 13 – rest day / practice sessions (to be scheduled) in the afternoon

Nov. 12 - tournament play
    10 to 11:30 a.m. – Marines vs. Navy
    11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Coast Guard vs. Air Force
    1 to 2:30 p.m. – Navy vs. Army
    2:30 to 4 p.m. – Air Force vs. Marines
    4 to 5:30 p.m. – Army vs. Coast Guard

Nov. 13 - tournament play
    10 to 11:30 a.m. – consolation match
    noon to 1:30 p.m. – championship match
    1:30 p.m. – award ceremony
