Columbus man charged in abduction and sexual assault case.

Columbus police charge a Columbus man in the abduction and sexual assault of a 12-year-old East Colulmbus Magnet Academy student on Jan. 6.

Police say 20-year-old Marcus Louis Wade put a gun to a 12-year-old girl’s head in a restroom at Columbus’ Belvedere Park and threatened to kill her.

Wade is also accused of kidnapping a woman and her 3-year-old grandchild.

Police say he told her to drive to an ATM, where he planned to take money from her account.
