Columbus Police Charge Man in Double Murder

A man charged in a double murder in Columbus is being held without bond.
Columbus Police arrested 23 year old James Brock for the murders of Tyesha McNair and Terence Clark. They were both shot
several times on October 13th.

News Three spoke with Terence Clark’s father and he says his family is still struggling with the death of their loved one. Milton Clark says he knows his son would want him to keep moving forward in life. He says he is glad about Brock’s charges, and now he is seeking justice.

“He don’t deserve to be on the street.Society don’t need nobody with that kind of mentality or thought. They don’t need to be out on these streets of society,“ says Clark.

Police say Brock was already in jail for failing to register as a sex offender. He was arrested for that charge a day after the murder occured. According to police, Brock is McNair’s ex-boyfriend and the father of her children. Brock’s case has been bound over to Superior Court.
