Feeding the Homeless

A local group gives back to the community that gave so much to them.
Weeks bonding partnered with majorglow entertainment on thanksgiving to lend a helping hand. Folks gathered in Phenix City to make sure the homeless didn’t go hungry yesterday. The volunteers have been on the receiving end of donations in the past and wanted to give back. Over seventy plates were delivered to locals shelters.
“Shelters, homeless, homes, anybody who calls, sick and shut in or they can come up and eat here too. Anyway, we’re just doing it any kind of way they can get it to feed anybody who needs to be fed.”
The group had about forty people come to their location and plan on doing a similar event around Christmas.
