Heavy Rain Closes Down East Alabama Bridge

Rain continues to fall in our area. As Tropical Depression Ida continues to move inland towards the Florida Panhandle, the storm is pushing rainfall through East Alabama and Georgia. The heavy rains caused creeks to swell. Bridges on two well traveled roads in East Alabama have been closed due to the hazard. The bridges are on Opelika Road and Cutrate Road outside of Phenix City.
