NCR Grand Opening Set for Thursday in Columbus

NCR may be bringing almost 900 jobs to Columbus, but they are cutting more than 2,200 jobs worldwide. NCR makes cash registers and ATM’s. They are retrofitting a building in Columbus to house the plant. The company reported from its Duluth, Georgia headquarters that profits had slumped 81%. The company employs over 22,000 workers worldwide.
NCR is gearing up for its Columbus grand opening.
    The ceremony is scheduled for Thursday at 11:30 a.m. at their plant in the Corporate Ridge Business Park.
