UPDATE: Police Searching for Escaped Prisoners

Warden of Muscogee County Prison says it is unlikely that the prisoners are still in the county.
He thinks they crossed the state line into Alabama.
Law enforcement from both states are searching.
A prison official tells News Three that 5 prisoners have escaped so far this year (including Freeman and Walker) and they have a 100% record of catching them.
Police say inmate Jeremy Hever did not escape, officer gave wrong information. Police are still searching for two other suspects.
Herman Freeman and Gregory Walker are still on the loose in a white Mazda Miata. Police say they were on work detail with Parks and Recreation when they disappeared.
State Patrol, Columbus P.D and Phenix City P.D are searching for the white Mazda Miata convertible with Georgia tag number 3063ATF.

Police are searching for two Muscogee County Prisoners who have escaped from work detail and have stolen a civilian car.
The Muscogee County Jail tells us two prisoners took off in a car that had the keys in it at Lake Oliver.
They are driving in a white Mazda Miata.
The two prisoner are Gregory Walker and Jeremy Hever. Walker is serving time for Forgery in the 1st degree. Hever is serving time for Poss of Methamphetamine.
