Published: November 3, 2009
The Alabama Public Service Commission is considering a rate adjustment that would affect thousands of small businesses in the state. The adjustment would go into effect January 1st and would save those businesses $25 a month. The rate adjustment would reclassify businesses by raising the amount of electricity a business can use at one time. The change could affect more than 22,000 small businesses.
