SOA Founder Nominated For Nobel Peace Prize

Founder Roy Bourgeois of the SOA Watch has been nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize.

The annual event drew thousands over the weekend, Father Bourgeois helped found the grassroots movement to protest the School of Americas that closed in 1991, and now WHINSEC, the Western Hemisphere for Security Cooperation. 

Protestors claim graduates have returned to their home countries, using their training to commit human rights violations, something WHINSEC has denied.
