» 0 Comments | Post a Comment

Alabama’s state health officer is asking
businesses to offer employees flu shot clinics to protect against
the standard form of the illness and to encourage H1N1 flu
vaccination too.
Dr. Don Williamson, who heads the Alabama Department of Public
Health is asking businesses to encourage sick employees to stay home
and not require employees to produce a doctors excuse for flu-like
illness.
The disease is widespread in Alabama, but health officials say
it has been mild and can typically be treated at home.
