UPDATE: Jury In The Shelnutt Case Is Now Deliberating

Update: the jury has now heard the case and they are deliberating.

In closing arguments, the prosecution pounded its stance that Shelnutt has hidden money and encouraged others to keep quiet. The defense continued to stress to jurors that it’s not illegal to receive payments in cash and Shelnutt has nothing to hide.
