Valley Names New Police Chief

The Valley City Council has named a new Police Chief.

Council members picked former Police Chief Tommy Weldon. The search for a new Police Chief began early last month.

Weldon left the Valley PD after 21 years in 2007 to take his current position as Chief Deputy with the Chambers County Sheriff’s Department.
