Water Works Waiting On Insurance Company

» 0 Comments | Post a Comment

We may know sometime this week what an insurance company is willing to pay in the April 25th collapse of a Columbus water tank.  The collapse sent six million gallons of water cascading onto JR Allen Parkway.

Jim Patterson with Water Works says they’re expecting a letter from their insurance company. They expect it to request reports related to the tank failure, to help them determine what will be covered.

Patterson says it’s Water Works position that damage to their property And other property be covered.

Once the insurance Company makes its decision, Patterson says Water Works will decide where they go from here. Litigation is not ruled out.
