60 Warrants Served in Taylor County Drug Bust
Sheriff Jeff Watson says the warrants are for various drug charges in an undercover investigation.
Taylor County’s sheriff is out this morning arresting more than two dozen drug suspects. It’s the culmination of a four month undercover investigation. Sheriff Jeff Watson tells News 3 that they’re serving 60 warrants on about 30 suspects. All will be charged with various drug related charges involving the possession and sale of narcotics, from marijuana and crack to prescription drugs. The sheriff says the suspects will probably have their first court appearances today. Check back for updates on this developing story.
