UPDATE: Bodies Identified in Double Murder

The shooting happened at the Crystal Court Apartments a little after 4:00 a.m. You may recall this is the same apartment complex where Julani Platt lived. She was murdered earlier this month.

Authorities say 21-year-old Tyesha McNair was found dead inside her apartment. She had been shot several times.

The other victim, 21-year-old Terrence Clark was found dead in the parking lot. He also was the victim of multiple gunshot wounds.

Police say there were no signs of forced entry at the apartment. So far, no word on a motive for the shootings.

Some of those neighbors say they were just getting over the initial shock of Julani Platt’s murder, and another murder happens in their neighborhood leaving them with a nagging question.

“What in the world is going on now?“ asks neighbor Paul Works.
The crime scene tape wrapped around the apartment building seems all too familiar to him.

“I never noticed any problems over there but you never know these days what’s going on,“ says Works.

He says out of the 6 years he has lived in the apartment complex, they have never experienced anything like this. He says neighbors are worried.

“I hope everybody stay’s you know, everybody talking about moving.“

Works believes these murders are random, and he says it won’t drive him out of the neighborhood.

“It’s unfortunate that something like this happened but I still say this is a good area.“

A good area that has been influenced by some bad decisions.

“You never know what goes on in other peoples household.“

Authorties have released the names of the victims. The Muscogee County coroner’s office says 21 year old Tyesha McNair and 22 year old Terrance Clark were found dead on the scene.
You may reacall this is the same complex where Jilani Platt lived. She was murdered earlier this month.
The bodies found today will sent to Atlanta for autopsy to determine the cause of death.
