Fort Benning Middle School Receives Money

WNBA star Ketia Swanier presented a check for $1,000 to the Junior Honors Society at the Fort Benning Middle School.

The students are going to the Nation’s Captial in April to get a better understanding of where leadership occurs.

Swanier’s parents retired at Fort Benning which is why she decided to present her first check from her foundation to the students.

“I just want them to be able to take all this in, learn from it, remember it, you know, grow on it and cherish it because a lot of kids their age don’t get that opportunity,“ says Swanier.
