Warfighting Conference Shows Weapons & Equipment Used in War

If you’d like to know more about how the army does its jobs, you can visit a Warfighting Conference beginning Monday.
Fort Benning Commanding General Michael Ferriter is hosting the three day conference Sept. 21 - 23 at the Columbus Trade Center. You’ll see a variety of weapons and equipment being used right now in battle. Speakers will also discuss how the army fights insurgents in the war zone. Speakers will include General David Patraeus, Lieutenant General William Caldwell, and Sergeant Major of the Army Kenneth Preston. The conference itself is free, but there is a charge for some activities like dinners. You can register by visiting the Warfighting Conference.
