More than 200 soldiers will parachute today for the Santa’s Castle project. It’s part of Operation Sleigh Ride. It will happen today at 2 p.m. at the Fryar Drop Zone. Operation Sleigh Ride is sponsored by the 507th Parachute Infantry Regiment, and participants are given the opportunity to donate toys to this worthy cause. Those who jump can also qualify for Chilean jump wings.  Sgt. 1st Class Manuel Linconir Gonzalez, a jumpmaster from Chile and currently assigned as a guest instructor at the Western Hemisphere Institute for Security Cooperation, will conduct the jump.
The public is invited to watch.
