Columbus Mechanics See A Rise In Customers

If the noise resounding in the shop of Exhaust Pro were a song, it would be at the top of most mechanic’s play-lists.

The owner of the shop in Columbus says car repairs are constant, because business is up.

“We’re actually doing probably better than we have last year,“ says Mike Pair.

He attributes the boost in business partially to tax season. But buzz from customers leads him to believe more people are opting out of buying new cars.

“We’ve heard them speak about how difficult it is now to get those easy loans that they were getting before.“

With no loans, some people are left to work with what they have.

“People that were having cars that might have been sitting up for a while for some reason or another are getting those repairs done,“ he says.

If you decide to put that brand new vehicle on hold, continual maintenance on your current car could save you money and is highly recommended.

Pair suggests to “keep your maintenance up and your car will last you a lot longer and give you a better value.“

While people continue to save, Pair’s company continues to thrive.

“We’re in a type of business they say that’s one of the top businesses that are insulated from a bad economy and so with that I’m blessed.“

We’re on your side with some tips on how to keep your car in shape while you save up for that new car.

Pair says to make sure you listen for different noises you have not heard on your car before. Also, check your tires on a regular basis. If you feel any vibrations on your car, have that checked out as well. The work needed on your car varies so, it’s best to get a professionals take on whether you should continue to repair your car or not.
