There’s been an unexpected delay in the construction of the new Martin Army Hospital at Fort Benning.

    A special reunion is planned for the last weekend in March in Columbus which will bring together some 50 orphans rescued from Vietnam in 1975.  One of those rescued was Columbus resident Jason Robertson.

Friends, family, and fellow soldiers of Sergeant Lakeshia Bailey are seeking closure following Bailey’s death last week in Iraq. Bailey’s body arrived home Monday.
