Carver Tops Central In Scrimmage

Phenix City, AL - The thing about scrimmage games is that they matter, they just don’t count. Central hosted Carver for the second straight year at Garrett-Harrison stadium and Carver wasted no time in getting on the board. Malcolm Chinn took a hand-off 85 yards on the Tigers first pocession to open the scoring as Carver won 34-16. Central quarterback Darren Daniel had a touchdown pass and Dion Hill added a score for Central. Central hosts Shaw in the opener next week, Carver plays Spencer in “The Classic” at Memorial.
