Secondary Questions Remain In Atlanta

FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. (AP) - Tye Hill says he has never had to stand on the sideline and watch a game while healthy before this season.

Hill hopes his time as a spectator with the Atlanta Falcons ends this week.

Hill is one of the Falcons’ options at cornerback as the team looks to replace Brian Williams, who suffered a season-ending knee injury in Sunday night’s win over the Chicago Bears.

Coach Mike Smith says the loss of Williams creates an opportunity for Hill, Chevis Jackson and rookie Chris Owens. Jackson replaced Williams against the Bears, when Hill was inactive for the fifth straight game.

Hill, who starting 21 games with the Rams from 2006-08, hopes to play when the Falcons visit the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.
