Are you interested in helping a homeless pet? Maybe you should sign up for PAWS Humane’s program that sends adoptable pets into your home for a two week period. This is the first year that PAWS is offering the program. It’s inspired by the book “A Dog Named Christmas”. Each pet will be sent to your home with the necessary items, including food. Dogs will also be sent with a crate. Cats will bring their own litter box. Other types of animals are available, including rabbits and ferrets. I can’t deny that it sounded like a pretty cool idea to bring a bunny home for Samuel to see for a couple of weeks. The application deadline is Monday, December 21st. Although, Marne Stallone from PAWS says that they’ll still help you foster a pet after that deadline is you miss it. For more information, you can email them at or call them at (706) 565-0035. You can check out adoptable pets by visiting the PAWS Humane website.

PAWS Humane Pet of the Week

Buddy is a happy big four year old St. Bernard. He weighs 100 lbs. and is super loveable. Buddy is very housebroken and will sit, shake, lie down and roll over. He is an awesome dog and loves everyone.  His only downfall is that he can and will jump a fence.  He is very well behaved and keeping him inside should not be a problem. Buddy is neutered, current on vaccinations, heartworm negative and micro-chipped. His adoption fee is $300.
