Tired Dog, Happy Owner

The benefits of having a smaller dog are endless but one point in-particular makes owning a small dog great - well for me!

Because his legs are so short a mile walk is not the same for him as it is for me! He does require a lot of time outside - so daily we walk about two miles and play off leash. I like to give him the opportunity to be a dog because I feel so bad about having him in the house all day.

So for about an hour he is allowed to eat dirt, roll in grass, and dig for worms –

If Mo does not get his quality time outside he is a mess! He will pull at my pants, grab things like my cell phone and run under the couch to destroy it, and just plain terrorize me – he is an absolute monster!

So I have learned to get him to look like this…..
